Catherine Young

Catherine Young

Catherine took her first yoga class at a Cincinnati Ballet summer program when she was 18 and has been hooked ever since. She loves the connection of movement and breath, and especially when a good vinyasa flow class feels almost like dancing. She completed her 200 hour YTT in 2021 at We Yogis in Dallas, Texas, as a way to deepen her own practice during Covid quarantine.

After moving to Westport in 2020, she has been delighted to work with Carly at Childs Pose Westport as a way to share her lifelong love of yoga with children. When not practicing yoga, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls, going to Compo, playing tennis and walking her dog, Pete.
